What is… Macroregion?

As you can see, we’ve made big updates to how geotargeting works in Ad Campaign settings.

We’ve added Macroregions — large geographic or language-based groups that make setting up your campaigns easier. They help you find your target audience faster and more accurately.

To keep it simple, we’ve split them into three groups:
1. Geographic regions
2. UN-classified regions (like LATAM or MENA)
3. Language-based regions.

How does it work?
- When you choose a Macroregion, all the countries in it get selected automatically.
- If you pick a language-based Macroregion, countries in that group will be highlighted with a color representing the language.

Where can I find geo-targeting settings?
Go to the Ad Campaigns page and create one. At that point, you’ll see the "Geotargeting" button — click on it, and... you’re all set!

How to configure a created campaign?
If you’ve already created an ad campaign and want to fine-tune the geographic targeting, we’ve prepared a quick guide for you:



 


Why is this helpful? In short: it saves you time!
You can now pick Macroregions that fit your campaign without selecting each country one by one. If you don’t want a certain country, you can easily remove it.
